Elementary (Grades K-2)

OVERVIEW

Our curriculum develops the whole child academically, spiritually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace with instructional support.

• Teachers create an individualized education program for each student, which is differentiated and student-focused
• Students use iPads and Chromebooks to practice, enhance and enrich learning
• Science Fair and Literacy Night allow students to demonstrate their knowledge with the projects they create
• Students learn about Jesus Christ, faith and the Bible through devotions, weekly worship and daily religion
• Health topics are included in physical education, science and religion classes
• Students are encouraged to embrace their unique gifts and talents, while learning to appreciate others
• In addition to their academic curriculum, students engage in specials classes: Makerspace, Drama, Art, Library, Music & Gym
• We are proud to partner with Creative Root at The Theatre School at DePaul University.  Their drama program employs a holistic theatre arts education strategy that stimulates children’s creativity and builds children’s emotional intelligence.
