|
At Saint Luke Academy, we believe that children flourish with a personalized approach to learning. We customize instruction to encourage students to develop their skills and discover their passions. This customized education, achieved through small class sizes and personalized support, enables our students to consistently score above the national average in math and reading on the NWEA/MAP standardized test.

CURRICULUM |
Our Curriculum is guided by our core principles of Fostering Curiosity, Building Community and Developing Character.
From the earliest grades, we challenge students to their fullest potential. They study our core curriculum of Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Religion and Science, in addition to specials including Art, Music, Library, Physical Education, and classes in our brand new Makerspace! In addition to academic development, our students will participate in our new Social Emotional Curriculum, Second Step, that we are rolling out for the 2024-2025 school year. Fostering Curiosity Children are naturally curious about the world around them. We encourage their curiosity through an inquiry-based approach to instruction. Our faculty incorporates music, art, technology, and literacy to bring the core curriculum to life by learning through exploration. Building Community We build community through collaboration. Whether it is in the classroom or on the playground, students share their skills and talents as they work together. Classmates encourage each other and learn from one another. Developing Character Character is developed when we teach our children to respect people of all faiths, understanding that the world is much larger and more diverse than they can imagine. Social and emotional learning emphasizes the importance of acceptance, cooperation, and appreciation. Service projects offer authentic opportunities for our students to grow and contribute to their communities. LEARN MORE: |
