Saint Luke Academy
|
Beginning with our youngest students, we teach our children to respect and celebrate people of all faiths. With this Christian worldview, students learn to become independent thinkers and to explore different religions. Saint Luke Academy students are given the experiences necessary to translate their value systems into concrete acts of service and stewardship in the years to come.
Students engage with faith first on a personal level, when they learn they are God's unique and special creations. Then, they are taught to recognize God's love in others. The Academy attends Chapel together at Saint Luke Church every Wednesday from 9:00-9:25am. Pastor leads the students in song as they celebrate being together as a school community. Saint Luke Academy is part of Saint Luke Church, a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. |
Saint Luke Academy offers authentic experiences that bridge the gap between learning about local and global issues, to actively doing something about them.
Through Saint Luke Ministries, our children participate in food and clothing drives, as well as serving the ministry as acolytes. We share a campus with our neighbors at Greenview Place Senior Housing, where all of our students engage with their residents year round through a variety of intergenerational activities. |
